Dr. Paul Rezutek

REGISTERED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

My practice integrates Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; ACT) within the context of collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationships. I received my Master’s and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Manitoba and completed my clinical psychology internship at the Student Counselling and Career Centre at the University of Manitoba.

My clinical interests include helping adults with anxiety (e.g., generalized, health, social, panic, phobias), depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), health concerns, stress management, life adjustment, return to work difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also have extensive experience working with individuals with chronic pain and spinal cord injuries, as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In addition to my work with adults, I also enjoy helping young children (4-10 years), and their caregivers, with anxiety (e.g., separation, social, generalized, phobias, school refusal), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), behavioural difficulties (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder - level 1/Asperger's Syndrome) and parenting concerns.
